Anambra: Herbalist, 20 Others Declared Wanted over Murder, Kidnap

Police, in Anambra State, have declared a suspected herbalist and twenty other persons wanted, over the recent murder of two persons, Chief Ajieh Anthony Nwanasor, and Chief Ikenna Ugochukwu in Ogwu-aniocha community, Ogbaru Local Government Area of the state, as well as the recent abduction of the traditional ruler of the community, H.R.H. Igwe Oliver Chike Nnaji (Ezechukwukwadolu III).
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the state's Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, in which he also listed the wanted persons, and urged members who have useful information about the whereabouts of any of the them to report.
The wanted persons, according to the statement, are: Okwudili Ogana, Chidi Ekpendu, Chukwunonso Udom (a.k.a Pikin), Amechi Akachukwu, Emmanuel Ejiofor, Christian Udeze, Chikezie Onwuka (aka Osy Torture), Iweka Odogwu, Chimezie Okonkwo (a.k.a. Danger), Onochie Nwabugwu (a.k.a. Young PG) Anayo Ubadi (a.k.a Agunechemba), Chibueze Egwenu, Charles Obi, Aboy Udom, Chinedu Collins Nwonani, Onyebuchi Umuna (a.k.a. Omeke), Ifeanyi Mbanugo (a.k.a. Acid), Sunday Osadebe, Nduba Chibuzor, Amechi Adama, and Azuakonam Anyakodia.
According to the statement, “The Commissioner of Police CP Echeng Echeng assures Ndi Anambra and the good people Ogwu-aniocha that the Command shall leave no stone unturned in the ongoing investigation."
“He also encourages citizens/individuals to call the Anamabra State Police Command if you have any information that can aid the investigation. Confidentiality is guaranteed,” the statement added.
