Modibbo Adama Federal University of Technology Holds 95th Governing Council Board Meeting

The newly constituted Governing Council Board of the Modibbo Adama Federal University of Technology, Yola, Adamawa State has held her inaugural meeting.
The meeting which featured familiarization, interaction, inspection, tour, etc, accorded the newly constituted governing council board members the opportunity to be acquainted with the functions, activities and challenges facing the University. It also afforded them the opportunity to interface with the University Management Board, ably led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Liman Tukur.
Presided over by the newly Council Board Chairman, Alhaji Bashir Dalhatu, the inaugural meeting had Hon. Paul Ezeobi in attendance, alongside other board members, who all had very fruitful deliberations with the University management, aimed at taking the University to a more enviable height.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after the meeting, Hon. Ezeobi, noted that the newly constituted governing council board members were intimated with the prospects, successes, achievements, and the challenges of the University by the management, which they assured they would work very hard to overcome, so as to greatly 'uplift' the University.
Members of the Board were also toured round the university's facility in the course of the meeting, and were equally introduced to the university's staff and the leadership of the Students' Union Government of the University.
Others present at the event include the Chancellor of the University, H.R.H. Okuku Uwa Umoh Adiaka; the Pro Chancellor and the Chairman of the Board, Alhaji Bashir M. Dalhatu; as well as other members of the Board —Dr. Benjamin Asharver, Alhaji Abubakar Umar D/Daji, and Ali Ibrahim Dogarai.
It would be recalled that the new Governing Council Board members of the Modibbo Adama Federal University of Technology, Yola, Adamawa State were inaugurated on 15th July, following the approval of their appointments by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The inauguration ceremony, which held at the National University Commission Auditorium, Abuja, drew the esteemed presence of many dignitaries, past and serving senators and ministers, including the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu who performed the inauguration alongside the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Dr. Chris Ngige.
