In Awka, Redemption Choir Set to Host 2021 Coral Festival Tomorrow

It promises to be a sonorous, melodious and glorious service indeed, as the Redemption Choir of the Chapel of Redemption, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State sets to host her 2021 Choral Festival in grand style.

The event which is slated to feature in both 6:30am and 9.am services on Sunday (tomorrow), will take place at the Chapel of Redemption, Unizik Temporary Site, Awka.

Giving a tip on the event, the Choral Director, Chapel of Redemption, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Dr. Mrs Nkechi Okpala revealed that the Choristers had a lot in stock, specially prepared and packaged for the day. She also assured the congregation that the Lord would richly bless them through the ministrations of the choir as they come; even as she reiterated the fact that the Chapel Choir actually ministers, and does not merely entertain.

She said, "The Lord is going to bless us richly that day. So, come and join us as we sing unto the Lord like never before. Remember that in the Chapel Choir, we don't merely entertain you; we minister, because we are music ministers, and the Lord will bless you mightily as we minister. He does mighty things and gives people testimonies during choir ministrations, and I'm a living witness to that."

"So, do not just see our singing as entertainment or take us to be mere entertainers; we are far more than that. Even when we pray each time, we always ask God that our renditions and presentations should not be mere entertainments to the people but ministrations to their souls; and that is who we are —music ministers. So come and be blessed as you join us to mark this special day," she added.

Tagged "Teach Me Thy Way O Lord", the 2021 Choral Festival will feature special renditions, musical interludes, sermon, among other activities slated the day.
