Says Closing Down Church Was A 'Demonic Agenda'

The Founder and General Overseer of the Living Faith Church worldwide (a.k.a. Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo has said he would never take the AstraZeneca COVID-19.

Disclosing this during the  Covenant Hour of Prayer programme, Oyedepo who also threw up his views on the coronavirus pandemic and its vaccination, further asserts that he is not a guinea pig. He also maintains that the church has the answer to COVID-19.

He said, “I have never seen a generation where you force people to take vaccines. It is inhuman; it is immoral sir. I’m not a lawyer but I don’t think it is legal. You can’t come to my house and want to give me injections."

“On what? Did I invite you? They are confused. But the church has the answer. Did you see any outbreak of virus here? How will it enter the gate? Will it come through the air? How?" he asked.

Although the Winners Chapel Prelate did not back his claim with evidence or eyewitness accounts of people being forced to take COVID-19 vaccine; he claimed that a woman in Kaduna 'got down' after that injection, asking if human beings were now being turned to guinea pigs.

He said, “One woman just got down after that injection in Kaduna. What kind of life? Are human beings now turned to guinea pigs?

“The world is confused but the church is triumphing. So the triumph of the church will humble the pride of the world,” he said.

“They don’t know what to do, sir. In the last days, the church will be reigning in power and glory. That is God’s agenda.

“No apologies. There is a big big bird in our land, saying ‘Don’t take it, they are deceivers.’ Somebody is now saying… see what?

“Let me see someone who will come and inject me. By who? Are you going to tie my hands. How? Did I invite you? I know you are quiet, you will hear more of it. My job is to expose the devil and tell his agents ‘Get off, we are not guinea pigs,’” he declared before his teeming congregation.

As though the time had come to say it out, Oyedepo further opined that closing down churches due to COVID-19 was a “demonic agenda”.

It is noteworthy that Pastor Oyedepo is not the only preacher who has vowed not to take the COVID-19 vaccine; Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries had earlier said he and his family would not take the vaccine.

Be it as it may, while another influential cleric, Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God has not publicly endorsed the said vaccine; Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy has been preaching a conspiracy theory about the pandemic.
