Actresses Ngozi Ezeonu & Blessing Nwankwo to Star in Upcoming High School TV Series, The Dreamers

Veteran Nollywood actresses Ngozi Ezeonu and Blessing Nwankwo are set to lead the cast of the upcoming Nigerian high school usical TV series, The Dreamers.
The TV series, set in both Nigeria and the United States of America, is a film written by a young Nigerian filmmaker and author, Michael Chineme Ike.
Ngozi Ezeonu, born Ngozi Ikpelue, May 23, 1965, is a Nigerian actress and former journalist notable for playing maternal roles in Nollywood movies. In 2012, she starred in Adesuwa, a role that earned her the Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 8th Africa Movie Academy Awards.
Although she is best known for her reprisal of mother figures, Ezeonu was originally cast as younger characters at the start of her acting career. In 1993, veteran film director Zeb Ejiro offered Ezeonu a supporting role as Nkechi, the antagonist's best friend in the Igbo blockbuster Nneka The Pretty Serpent. This was followed by her role in 1994's Glamour Girls as Thelma, a high society mistress.
On her own part, Blessing Nwankwo is a veteran Nollywood actress and make-up artist. She was born in the 1960s in Nkanu, Enugu State, Nigeria.
In 2001, Blessing began her acting profession in the Nollywood Movie Industry and has starred in many Nollywood movies, such as Royal Crisis, After the Altar, My Sister's Pain, Brought in the Game, Stephine, Mood Maids, Hour of Love, Marks of the gods, the Pain of Love, Onye Ama, My Love My Tears, Divine Intervention, Heartless Warrior and many others.
According to the owner of the TV Series, Michael Chineme Ike who disclosed these to newsmen in Awka, the film will feature over 30 bands of talented young Nigerian actors including Nigerian rising musical star, Ipud Rhymes.
"The Series' first season has Nigerian filmmaker, Nwankwo Emilia Chioma and American music artist, Sean McRae as associate Producers," Ike told newsmen in an interview.
