Obiano's Former Chief of Protocol Scores 10 As Nwankwo Wins APGA's Senatorial Ticket with 162 Votes

The Member representing Anaocha/Njikoka/Dunukofia Federal constituency in the 9th National Assembly, Hon. Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo has emerged as the flagbearer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the Anambra Central Senatorial District for the forthcoming 2023 general election.
The Returning Officer of the primary election, Barr. Mrs. Elizabeth Nwokocha, declared this after the hitch-free election which held at the Dora Akunyili Women Development Center, Awka, amid tight security.
Hon. Dozie defeated the former senator representing the zone, Senator Victor Umeh, and the former Chief of Protocol to the immediate-past Governor of the state, Chief Uzuegbunam Okagbue, to emerge victorious in the keenly contested election.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Nwankwo dedicated his victory to God, appreciated the party leadership and delegates, even as he extended hands of partnership and collaboration to his co-contestants to support him, for the overall development of the zone.
