I'll Promote Justice, Equity & Order —Senatorial Aspirant, Emma Nwachukwu Assures
A frontline aspirant to the Nigerian Senate in the 2023 general election, Chief Emma Nwachukwu, who aspires to represent Anambra South Senatorial Zone, has assured the people of the zone that he will sponsor and support bills that will promote justice, equity and order when elected to the Senate.
Chief Nwachukwu gave the assurances recently while addressing the rising incidences of attacks on public facilities by non-state actors in Anambra State.
Seeking restraint from all parties, Chief Nwachukwu cautioned that violence and destruction of properties will not address or solve any problem.
He enjoined everyone fighting for one cause or another to accept the invitation extended by the Anambra State Government for negotiations and discussions that will aid quick resolution of outstanding issues.
On his aspiration, Chief Nwachukwu said he's committed to effecting legislation that will impact the society positively and address social problems, noting that social problems arise when justice fails.
Quoting Martin Luther King Jr, Chief Nwachukwu posited that “Law and order exist for the purpose of establishing justice, and when they fail in this purpose, they become the dangerously-structured dams that block the flow of social progress.”
"This is why I aspire to represent my people in the Senate, to ensure that the law serves their interest and that it never fails in its purpose to provide justice, equity and order," he concluded.
