Fanfare and Funfair As Barr. Agbasiere Marks Birthday

It was indeed a moment of encumium, inspiration, conviviality, fanfare and funfair on Wednesday, as the world gathered to mark the birthday of a quintessential philanthropist and legal luminary par excellence, Barr. Sir Anthony Kelechi Agbasiere, as he clocked 37.
The well-attended event which held at Oma Event Centre, Awka, the Anambra State capital, drew the attendance of great dignitaries from within and outside the state, benefactors, well wishers, friends, relatives of the celebrant, as well as many superstars and celebrities, including KCee, Slow Dog, Humblesmith, Kola Boy, Comedian Funny Bone among many others.

Barr. Agbasiere, who has philanthropically devoted his resources to the service of humanity over the years, disclosed that he was not doing so because he had more than enough, but with the primary aim to positively impact on the young ones, the humanity and the society at large.
According to him, giving back to humanity and the society is a way of appreciating God for his blessings and arousing Him for more blessings.
While decrying the rate at which many amazing talents and youths are wasting in Nigeria with government doing nothing to support/harness them or provide enabling environment for them to thrive and hone those talents; Barr. Agbasiere who has empowered thousands of youngsters and the needy through his NGO, The SIERE Foundation, revealed that he established the Foundation for the primary aim of supporting and empowering talents and the less privileged, with a vision to make Africa and the world a better place.
While thanking God for gift of life, divine blessings, protection, and heart of giving; Barr. Agbasiere, who is a Knight of Saint John International, and who recently hosted the first-of-its-kind piano contest and singing competition for youths of the southeastern Nigeria among many other mouthwatering talent hunts and empowerment-cum humanitarian programmes, restated his commitment to continue giving back to humanity and the society, even as he appreciated all who came from far and near to fete with him on his birthday.
The birthday celebration was heralded by a tantalizing tennis ball competition, with the winners going home with cash prize of N500,000 (five hundred thousand naira).
The event itself featured singing competition —which also saw the winner (Vickel David) go home with a cash prize of N500,000, with lips of appreciation to the celebrant and prayer for more blessings upon him; empowerment of fourteen lucky young entrepreneurs with a total sum of one million naira (1,000,000) to support their businesses; as well as full dose of entertainment, with superstars in the house wooing and wowing the participants with their performances and jazzy-cum-melodious tunes, which made the event fun and and a convivial one indeed.
Anambra-born young author and filmmaker, Michael Chineme Ike was also present at the event with his team, to fete with the celebrant and appreciate him for his supports to youngsters and their visions over the years, praying for God's divine reward upon him.
