Again, Trailer Driver Kills Motorcyclist in Anambra Road Crash

 

“A fatal Road traffic crash Occurred at Customary Court Junction by  Igboukwu-UGA road,  today 16th December, 2021 at about 17:10hrs.

“The crash was between two vehicles. 

“An unidentified driver of a red Mack Trailer  with  registration number: JJ496QF. And an unidentified driver of a Lifan motorcycle with no registration number.

“The probable cause of the fatal crash was attributed to excessive speed and  loss of control (LOC).

“According to an eyewitness report, the driver of the trailer was was on very high, lost control and rammed into the oncoming motorcycle in a single carriage way, and crashed.

“3 male adults were involved in the crash.
Number injured: Nil
Number killed: 1 male adult
(The the driver of the motorcycle).

“As at the time of filling this report, the injured Victim was taken to Apex Hospital Ngo where the male adult was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty and his corpse deposited at the hospital morgue.
“The FRSC rescue team on ground managed traffic and ensured obstuction caused was cleared.

“The Sector Commander Anambra State *Corps Commander Adeoye Irelewuyi* Comiserate with the family of the dead Victim.

“He warned Motoring public to desist from speeding and maintain Safe Speed limit.

“Traffic rules and regulations must be obeyed at all times.”
